Grind the almonds and the basil in a food processor to obtain a paste, slowly adding a little oil. Add the tomatoes little by little, until the pesto is a good pink color. Add salt & pepper to taste. Add the clove of garlic to your pesto for a few hours, then remove. Cook and drain the pasta al dente, and mix it with the pesto off the heat. Serve with grated parmesan cheese on the side.
