Lakrids Sour Strawberry Liquorice from Denmark is a 2024 winner of the European Most Innovative New Product Awards. Lakrids are a combination of sweet licorice, exclusive chocolate, and fine licorice powder. The Sour Strawberry Lakrids include sweet red licorice coated in white chocolate with the flavour of fresh picked strawberries.
The result is a sweet, sour and supreme treat, enclosed by a delicate, crunchy, green sugar shell. The 295 gram jar is chock full of this sweet, unusual treat. We resisted bringing these in for a few years… and then we sampled them. One taste, and even the staff that don’t like licorice were hooked!
