Rishi Jasmine Green Tea features China’s most famous scented tea. Jasmine trees first arrived in China from Persia during the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) by way of the ancient Silk Road. The sweet fragrance of jasmine tea can only be created in the traditional way. This involves nine stages of scenting to deeply infuse the tea leaves with the aroma of fresh jasmine petals. Ingredients include only organic green tea with jasmine. Each box has 15 individually wrapped sachets, with the tea bags made of a plant-based, biodegradable material. To brew, Rishi recommends steeping each bag in 235 mL of water heated to 80C for 3 minutes.
