Rishi Pink Lemon Ginger Tea features red shiso, an herbal member of the mint family grown in Japan. Red shiso has a tangy, fruity flavour and is used in traditional Japanese umeboshi pickles. It’s also popular in seasonings for sushi and rice dishes. Partnered with warming ginger root, tart-sweet lemon, and a slight touch of rose petals, this creates a perfectly balanced tisane that is delicious and soothing. Ingredients include organic red shiso, organic lemon, organic ginger root, and organic rose petals. Each box has 15 individually wrapped sachets, with the tea bags made of a plant-based, biodegradable material. To brew, Rishi recommends steeping each bag in 235 mL of water heated to 93C for 5 minutes. Steep it hot, or try as a cold brewed iced tea.
