Cupper’s Local Wholesale Customers

Cupper’s local wholesale customers are the best wholesale customers ever. We appreciate their support more than we can say. So in appreciation, we’d like to feature some of them.

Welcome to Lethbridge sign

The Penny Coffee House

The Penny Coffee House has been a Cupper’s local wholesale customer since… well, pretty much since there’s been a Cupper’s! It’s a long story, so pull up a chair.

Way back when, the Penny was part of Cupper’s. Or Cupper’s was a part of the Penny. It’s almost the same thing in the long run. But then Al sold the Penny part of the business and moved the roasting part out as part of the sale. That was the beginning (continuation?) of the long-standing relationship. Cupper’s has been roasting the Penny’s coffee ever since, non-stop. Off the Penny’s shelves, they sell their own coffee brand roasted by Cupper’s. They also serve several of our most popular coffee blends. Even ownership changes haven’t affected the long-term relationship. We are proud to have had The Penny with us from the start.

So if you want a fantastic home-made sandwich, or great bowl of soup go to the Penny Coffee House. They’re located at 331 5 Street South in downtown Lethbridge. Find out why this is such a southern Alberta institution. And let them know we sent you!

Streatside Eatery

The Streatside Eatery is another long-term partner who have carried our coffee for decades. Another true Lethbridge institution, the staff at Streatside always serve up amazing meals.

One of Streatside’s signature dishes, their quiche is very often sold out, and their Chicken McMerle Sandwich is legendary. And alongside their great food and cheerful service they serve Cupper’s Coffee. They also make a fantastic pasta salad, and are open for supper as well as lunch. And did you know they had a quiet little hidden patio in the back that’s perfect in spring, summer and fall?

The Streatside Eatery is tucked in at 317 8 Street South in Lethbridge. It’s a great place to meet a couple of friends to catch up with, or for a relaxed bite with family. And if you’re into desserts, there’s no one in town that makes a Turtles cheesecake as decadent and good as theirs!

Strudelbrand

What the heck is a Strudelbrand? Well, we’ve been watching them since they first popped up in Lethbridge. Check out their YouTube channel for a better description than we can give. They *love* Lethbridge, and their sense of humour and fun is definitely a breath of fresh air.

Strudelbrand’s exploration of Lethbridge makes the old seem new again. Visiting it through their lens is seeing everything from fresh eyes. Check them out working with the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra. See why the independent films they’ve made won prestigious local awards!

Strudelbrand is the newest Cupper’s local wholesale customer. Now they have their own Strudelbrand of Cupper’s coffee, Strudelbeans! It’s now available in-store at Cupper’s, or you can order it here online. With this coffee blend, they’re one of our newest Cupper’s local wholesale customers. And no where else will you find the elusive Strudelbeans. Grab a bag, brew a cup, and enjoy their online projects!

The Little Bakehouse

The Little Bakehouse has quickly become a favourite place for our staff to grab a quick snack or a loaf of bread. Their croissants are amazing – everyone here loves when a bag shows up! But did you know they also have soup, sandwiches, and Cupper’s Coffee on their lunch menu?

Marjolaine and Dorian are the passion behind the magic at The Little Bakehouse. Having come to Lethbridge from France, they wanted to share their love of freshly baked breads and treats with their new home. When you open the door and walk into their store, the glorious smells instantly transport you to the charming side street cafes of Paris itself.

Their store is located at 1105, 3 Avenue South in Lethbridge. It also has a small seating area that’s perfect for sharing a treat for a quick break. Or bring a couple of friends and enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee and a pain-au-chocolat while you visit. After all, the best visits are over fresh bread and coffee!
