University Services of Canada

World University Services Canada is a Canadian non-profit organization working to create a better world for all young people. They bring together a diverse network of students, volunteers, schools, governments, and businesses who share this vision. World University Services Canada fosters youth-centered solutions for improved education, economic, and empowerment opportunities. The focus is to overcome inequality and exclusion in over 15 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

The UofL chapter supports the Student Refugee Program (SRP). This is a refugee resettlement program that enables qualified United Nations refugees to enter Canada as permanent residents. It also supports refugees pursue their education at Canadian universities and colleges. The program is internationally unique in its status as a student-to-student private sponsorship program.
