Felt Creature Sea Turtle Kit

The Felt Creature Sea Turtle Kit is designed for an intermediate crafter, recommended for ages 12 and up. Did you know that the Leatherback Sea Turtle is the largest of all the turtles? They’re also the most widely distributed, found worldwide with a huge north and south range. Leatherbacks are the only turtle to not have a hard shell, which makes them rather appropriate for a felt kit!  Your final Sea Turtle measures 21 cm x 13 cm.

The Felt Creature Sea Turtle Kit was designed by the Rita Van Tassel Studio in Nova Scotia. Each kit envelope contains step-by-step photo illustrated instructions. They also include paper pattern pieces, sheets of wool blend felt, embroidery floss, a needle, and pins. The only thing you provide is the stuffing. The techniques are simple for all the designs, but some require more patience when assembling the smaller parts. Each is marked for the degree of difficulty.
