The South Alberta FASD Network delivers Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) informed services across the region. The Network is comprised of community agencies and groups that deliver FASD-related supports and services. Funded agencies use a whole view, client-focused approach to work with their community partners. They also work on giving culturally aware services to all residents. These include assessment and diagnosis of FASD, and targeted prevention and support services for individuals with FASD and their care givers. Educational training in basic FASD, awareness of the issue, and its prevention are also key areas.
