Our new Fair Trade Organic Sumatra Mandheling dark roast coffee is AMAZING. Complex earthiness is a classic base note of Sumatran coffees. This lovely coffee’s low notes are beautifully highlighted by some truly wonderful flavours. Let’s start with the aroma. You’re going to pick up subtle herbal hints of tobacco, underscored by dark chocolate and melon. You’ll also notice the rich body of the coffee – we’re using words like full, syrupy, velvety. The flavours deliver on the promise of the aroma. We tasted tobacco, cedar, clove, butterscotch, and grape. It’s a unique combination of flavours that complement each other perfectly. Drinking a cup of our Mandheling is an alluring experience, not to be missed.

This superb organic Sumatra Mandheling dark roast coffee is a RKG cooperative coffee. It’s established by a group of young women who seek to create gender equity in Sumatra for young coffee producers.
