This amazing recipe is from Saltspring Kitchens. We love, love, love their jams and sauces. This soup gets it’s boost from using their Tandoori Chutney. Hold on to your hat while you eat this soup, it has punch. There’s lots of big flavour here balanced with the subtle warmth of a good butternut squash.

Butternut Squashes are a delicious seasonal vegetable. They are an excellent veggie to buy in the fall and winter as they last for a couple of months if kept cool. They have a similar flavour to a pumpkin, but tend to be a bit nuttier. For this reason we really love them in a creamy soup. Paired with Saltspring Kitchen Tandoori Chutney, this easy gourmet recipe is the bee’s knees.

Best Portuguese Kale Chips

Kale chips are a favourite snack around Cupper’s. We have tried many recipes to find this one. It works the best and is a nice snack that even kids will enjoy. We use a mix of spices from Saltwest Seasoning that have Portuguese inspiration.

Toasted Coconut Kettle Corn

Are you ready to step-up movie night at your house? This Toasted Coconut Kettle Corn will be the talk of your friend group. Gourmet popcorn will make your movie night so fancy you’ll think you should be watching an opera.

Our favourite popcorn is the Fireworks Heirloom Popcorns. There are several different varieties to choose from. They’re all GMO free and vegan as well! These popcorns are grown from non-modified seeds. The flavours are the same as the popcorn your grandparents ate. It’s quite different from the popcorn we know today. And if you’re going for the old-fashioned popcorn style, it’s best to use proper old-fashioned popcorn kernels!
